Mutual connection of Urdu literature and psychology

Abstract

The creative journey of poetry and prose in Urdu literature is actually an expression of the psychological process. Psychology is the subject that has a close relationship with human life. It is the name of the study of human character and mind. It is not possible to deny the use of psychological factors in the creation of literature but also while criticizing the literary level. When the literary creations of any writer and poet are analyzed psychologically, the artist's own psychology plays a key role in this process. Because being a human being, his own psychology is connected with factors like love, hate, stubbornness, ego, sorrow, goals, hunger, sex, revenge, anger, fear, jealousy, inferiority complex, superiority sense. . When the writer creates literature in the light of these factors, then we call this literature psychological literature and when the critic evaluates a work of art keeping these factors in mind, then this evaluation is called psychological criticism. The creative process springs from human psychological attitudes, consciousness and subconsciousness. Apart from the artist's own psychology, the second reference is the environment found around him.
